QEd Learning Packs
These have been developed and tried out during the course of the project. The activities are mainly aimed at Key Stage 2, but can be adapted up or down. They include specially written supporting material.
At each site we focussed on a particular area of the curriculum, developing a Unit of Work that can be slotted into the normal teaching curriculum. However, the activities could be adapted to other locations: any site visit is an all-round experience giving a wonderful opportunity to make connections between different subjects.
Each pack contains sections on Visiting the Site (About the site, Location maps, Health and Safety review); Planning the Activities (Unit outline, detailed teaching plans and activity guides); Information Sheets; Activity Sheets.
