Boundaries
Ever since people settled down in one place, they have marked out their land and protected their crops and animals by making boundaries. These boundaries might be fences, hedges, walls, ditches or earth banks. They have changed as farmers have different needs. You can see all of these on the Quantock Hills. They help give the Quantock Hill their special look.
